Kids Yoga


Welcome to kids yoga at Revive! We offer children’s yoga classes to 2-4 year olds on a weekly basis. Our program will help your child to become more balanced, engaged and focused. Here at Revive, we pride ourselves on providing a fun environment where kids can learn skills to help them developmentally, socially and physically. Launched by popular demand, kids classes are held in our new studio extension. Your little one will be cared for at each and every session by our team of friendly teachers.

Weekly Themes

Each week we focus on a different theme designed to foster mindfulness, resilience, focus, balance, fun and more. Be sure to keep an eye on our Facebook page and monthly newsletters for more information on each theme and how your child will benefit. Some example themes we may cover each week include:

  • Improving socialization skills
  • Improving confidence and self-esteem
  • Feelings of connectedness to peers
  • Enhancing concentration and awareness
  • Improving coordination
  • Mindfulness and meditation
  • Learning about and accepting diversity
  • Learning emotional resilience
  • Communication

Class Schedule & Fees

Kids do not need any prior yoga, pilates or meditation experience. Yoga and meditation for this age group will help them build strength & flexibility, increase body awareness, balance & coordination, develop emotional regulation skills, and increase language skills. prey.
Each child should bring water, wear comfortable clothing they can move in, and bring a yoga mat if they have one. Otherwise we have mats they can borrow.

Hello! I started practising yoga over 10 years ago, but it wasn’t until the birth of my son in 2014 that I tried a Child Friendly yoga class and my heart, mind and body were changed forever. I loved sharing yoga with my little one and making lifelong friends which started me on a personal yoga journey as a yoga teacher sharing the lessons and teaching with other mum and bubs.

As my son grew older and my passion for kids yoga grew, I decided to do my teacher Training and become part of the Revive Kids Yoga Community.

What I love most about teaching kids yoga is to see their confidence, self-awareness and smiles shine brightly from week to week.

My personal journey with yoga began as a child when a curvature in my spine was identified at the age of 10. Since this time Yoga has become an integral part of my daily life. My passion to continue to learn is always edging me closer towards an even deeper understanding of what yoga is and how when applied to our modern lives we can all achieve inner peace, vitality and freedom.

As a kids yoga teacher I like to explain the concepts of yoga through stories and play. By making yoga fun and relevant to the child’s current age and level of experience enables the young mind to understand their own personal toolbox and develop autonomy to make good decisions. In my classes I use yoga props and poses to develop body awareness, breathing techniques for emotional connectedness and meditation to centre and calm.

The highlight for me is seeing the glitter in children’s eyes following class. Giving kids the skills to remain mindful encourages an inner confidence that truly shines!

A Note for Mum & Dad: While our classes are focused on the growth and well being of your child, our community is focused on supporting you for the journey ahead. We will email a monthly newsletter to the parents of all Kids Community members. In this newsletter we’ll explain what we are currently focusing on in class and provide tips to help extend your child’s learning at home.
